Access Reports

  1. Log in to MyTalent with your KU online ID and password
  2. Select Home in the top-left to open dropdown menu. Then, select Reporting View ScreenshotSelect 'Home' in top-left, then select 'Reporting'
  3. Here you can see what reports have been created for you by KU Human Resources. View ScreenshotReports list
  4. Please contact HR to request a report your are interested in that is not currently available.

Report: Employee with No Goals

One report that is available is a report titled Employees with No Goals – My Team. This report will show any employees that report to you, all levels down, that do not have a goal established in the system.

  1. To access the report, select the three dots (i.e., ellipsis) in the "Action" column for the Employees with No Goals – My Team report. View ScreenshotSelect the three dots in 'Action' column
  2. To run the report, select RunView ScreenshotSelect 'Run'
  3. The best way to run the report is to select ExportView ScreenshotSelect 'Export'
    1. NOTE - There are three other options to run the report
  4. You have the option to export as PDF, PowerPoint, or Excel spreadsheet
    1. We recommend exporting as an Excel spreadsheet
  5. Select ExcelView ScreenshotSelect 'Excel'
  6. Select Generate ReportView ScreenshotSelect 'Generate Report'
  7. If the report is blank, that means that all employees have goals, which is a good thing.
  8. If the report is not blank, any employees that appear on the report do not have goals and their supervisor will need to add goals and work with the employee to add goals.

Report: Probation End Dates of Employees

One report that is available is a report titled Probation End Dates of Employees – My Team. This report will show all employees that report to you, all levels down, and their probation end date. This report will show all employees most recent or upcoming probation end date.

  1. To access the report, select the three dots (i.e., ellipsis) in the "Action" column for the Probation End Dates of Employees – My Team report. View ScreenshotSelect three dots in 'Action' column
  2. To run the report, select RunView ScreenshotSelect 'Run'
  3. The best way to run the report is to select ExportView ScreenshotSelect 'Export'

  5. Select ExcelView ScreenshotSelect 'Excel'

  8. Then, select Sort & Filter from the Excel "Home" tab menu View ScreenshotSelect 'Sort and Filter' from Excel 'Home' tab
  9. Then, select Filter
  10. Select the dropdown on the column titled "Probation Date" and select Sort Newest to OldestView ScreenshotSelect dropdown on 'Probation Date' column and select 'Newest to Oldest'
  11. If performance concerns exist, it may be appropriate to recommend either an extension of the probationary period or termination of the probationary appointment to HR.
  12. It is the supervisor’s responsibility to make that determination before the probationary period ends.

Report: Employee Achievement of Goals

One report that is available is a report titled Employee Achievement of Goals – My Team. This report will show all goals that have been set in the system for all employees that report to you all levels down as well as information about the goal and the progress toward reaching the goal.

  1. To access the report, select the three dots (i.e., rectrangle with right-facing triangle) in the "Action" column for the Employee Achievement of Goals – My Team report. View ScreenshotSelect the three dots in the 'Action' column
  2. To run the report, select RunView ScreenshotSelect 'Run'

Report: Evaluation Form Status

Evaluation Form Status reports are available each year. These reports show what evaluations are in progress for the calendar year, the date the current step of the form is due and who owns the form. This report is especially helpful to make sure all evaluations in your area of responsibility are completed on time.

  1. To access the report, select the three dots (i.e., ellipsis) in the "Action" column for the Evaluation Form Status report. View ScreenshotSelect three dots in 'Action' column

  7. This report will show details of all in-progress evaluations for the year of the report.
    1. Current Route Step tells you what step the form is on
    2. Step Due tells you what day that step is/was due. Here, you can keep track of steps that are overdue and follow up with the corresponding employee and manager.

Report: Evaluation Rating

Evaluation Rating reports are available each year. These reports show the ratings received for all evaluations completed that calendar year. The report will include annual evaluations, probation evaluations, and special evaluations.

  7. This report will show the evaluation form type (whether annual, probationary, etc.), the employee information, and the rating that was received.
    1. If the rating field is blank, that means the evaluation is not complete.
