Instructions for Deans and Chairs

Lecturer, Teaching Professor, Professor of the Practice Evaluation


The Performance Management System (MyTalent.ku.edu) will be used to store and track faculty evaluations. Chairs and Deans will still complete faculty evaluations for Lecturers, Teaching Professors, and Professors of the Practice using the options available in the Performance Management System as described in this document.

Complete Faculty Performance Evaluation

  1. Log in to MyTalent

      1. For each benchmark, you can choose a rating from the dropdown menu and add comments in the “Manager’s Comments” field to evaluate the faculty member’s performance for that benchmark [View Screenshot]For each benchmark, you can choose a rating from the dropdown menu and add comments in the “Manager’s Comments” field to evaluate the faculty member’s performance for that benchmark

        1. If they did not enter a rating or comments, it will say “no ratings from others”
      3.       7. Once a suggested sentence is placed in the “Manager’s Comments” field, the quote can be edited as needed.
    2. Option 2: Evaluate the faculty member’s performance in the overall performance section
