Performs skilled work in the maintenance and repair of all Universityvehicles. Duties will involve troubleshooting, diagnostic and repairof cars, trucks, vans, medium and heavy duty trucks and specializedconstruction and landscape equipment. Duties involves theoperation and repair of both gasoline and diesel fueled vehicles andequipment. Some positions will perform auto body repair andpainting. Some positions may provide leadership or supervision overstaff. High School diploma or GED equivalency. Three years of experience in automotive or diesel mechanic and/or auto body repair. Associate¿s degree or vocational school certification may be substitutedfor one year of the required experience.
