Performs skilled work in the operation, maintenance and repair oflow or high pressure steam boilers and other power and mechanicalsystems in a power plant. Work involves the skilled operation,maintenance and repair of boilers, water softeners, compressors,generators and other related power plant equipment. Somepositions may provide leadership or supervision over staff. High School diploma or GED equivalency. Two years of experience in steam generation and/or boiler work. Associate's degree or vocational school certification may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
