Collects and analyzes data requirements, and develops complex logical and physical database designs and data models in support of enterprise information management. Takes lead in building the repository for subject areas of Oracle Analytics or other similar software. Maintains the code repository and is responsible for code migrations to production. Works with data architecture, applications and systems teams to ensure database designs and data models support the integration of data/information flow across systems and platforms. Develop and maintain the automation of data flowing into and out of the source systems. Assists with the development and enforcement of methodologies and standards for data modeling. Works in all phases of database design and data modeling activities. Drives project implementations and code review. Maintains development practices in accordance with Data Governance principles and policies and help maintain the Data Dictionary. Mentors other developers. May supervise staff developers and/or other staff positions. Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant professional experience.
