Job Description and Minimum Qualifications:
Independently performs a full scope of activities associated with the development, implementation, and administration of compensation policies and programs. Participates in and formulates recommendations in the development of long-range compensation objectives considering such factors as financial resources and restraints, legal considerations, and competitive market positions. Performs comprehensive and detailed data analysis to determine alignment with the market. Using market data and internal data, formulates recommendations regarding the development and updating of salary structures, job title definitions, and organizational structures. Prepares and evaluates position descriptions to determine appropriate titles and FLSA statuses for all staff positions. Reviews, approves, and processes all staff reclassifications. Manages the annual salary survey participation process. Serves as the administrator of KU¿s salary marketing software and updates employee and job tables regularly. Designs and develops reports and dashboards relating to university compensation. Bachelor¿s degree and 6 years of experience in data analysis, with 3 years of experience in compensation administration. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or pursuing CCP designation.
