Job Description and Minimum Qualifications:

Manages programs, projects, functions and/or processes within a department, center or unit that demonstrates a specific focus or service to the campus community, but does not have campus wide responsibility or impact. Conceptualizes, develops, and implements policies and procedures that effect the unit¿s mission and strategy. Develops reports and identifies metrics to evaluate efficiencies and suggest operational changes when warranted. May have budgetary discretion and responsibility over the unit funds. Represents the organization both internally and externally to the public. May serve as an expert in the field to peer institutions/programs. Scope of decisions impacts internal operations of the unit and requires compliance to guidelines be maintained. Cognizant of national trends and plans for operational strategies from a unit perspective. May provide leadership in compliance related activities such as audits, accreditation review and state liaison initiatives. Has the authority to act on the Director¿s behalf for the department. Supervises staff. #Master¿s degree and 3 years of related experience in the field or a Bachelor¿s degree and 5 years of related experience in the field. Two years of supervisory experience.
