Job Description and Minimum Qualifications:
Functions as a front-line leader and trainer. Provides technical expertise in one or more areas of ACU husbandry operations. Plays an integral role in ensuring research animals and facilities are maintained consistent with exemplary standards of animal care. Under indirect supervision, provides routine husbandry and care of research animals. Responsibilities also include cage sanitation and preparation for reuse. Serves as a leader within the ACU and can act in absence of the supervisor with guidance from ACU veterinary personnel. #High School diploma or GED equivalency and three years of laboratory animal science experience and AALAS certification at LATG level.
