Job Description and Minimum Qualifications:

Manages the development, planning, production, and presentation of radio broadcasts for locally and/or nationally produced shows. Promotes programming with public radio listeners and may host broadcasts. Facilitates production by overseeing the acquisition, editing, and production of program materials. Develops and manages the program schedule and supervises the completion of all programming elements. Researches programming needs and audience desires. Collaborates with contacts to deliver relevant programming. Assists in publishing program content for website. Works as an on-air radio announcer, reporter/host, and producer. May organize and maintain library and database resources. Engages in community outreach efforts. Supervises staff. Bachelor¿s degree in Journalism, Communications, Broadcasting, or related field. Minimum of five years of experience in radio programming.
