Job Description and Minimum Qualifications:
Serves as a member of the Senior IT Leadership Team and directly reports to the CIO. This position is responsible for providing leadership in information security for KU. The Security Officer is given considerable latitude and independence to organize and manage projects, resources (fiscal and personnel), and activities in a robust and evolving technical environment. Bachelor’s degree and seven years of relevant professional experience. Two years of supervisory or management experience. Requires CISSP.
