Job Description and Minimum Qualifications:
Positions report to the Director of EHS. Administer, manage, supervise, and carry out their assigned EHS Department¿s campus-wide program(s) area(s). Provide advice, consultation, and direction in campus matters related to assigned EHS program(s) area(s). Work with Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies to form partnerships, foster relations and maintain understanding of program applicable regulatory policies/standards in order to maintain/achieve University compliance.(Depends upon specific program areas)Bachelor¿s degree in an appropriate science, engineering or safety related field, or specified equivalent work experience. Five (5) years of work experience addressing safety issues in program area including supervisory experience. Valid driver¿s license. Conditions of Employment: Successfully complete a baseline medical evaluation/examination within 90 days of initial employment; successfully complete OSHA/EPA 40-hour HAZWOPER Training within 180 days of initial employment; Successfully complete a security risk assessment conducted by the U.S. Attorney General/FBI in accordance with CDC/USDA Select Agent Regulations within 180 days of initial employment.
