Performs highly skilled and/or specialized work involving repairing,installing and maintaining pipes that carry water, steam, air or otherliquids or gases. Work also involves inspecting, troubleshooting,repairing or replacing pipes and systems. Work is performed onremodeling or construction projects as well as general maintenanceof University buildings. Some positions may provide leadership orsupervision over staff High School diploma or GED equivalency. Three years of experience as a steamfitter or in a related field. Associate¿sdegree or vocational school certification may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
