Provide safety and security for the University of Kansas. Perform routine security and preventative maintenance by patrolling buildings and grounds, observing for security violations, looking for fire and safety hazards, and securing assigned buildings. Monitor CCTV systems. Provide the visual presence of a uniformed officer to reassure the students, staff, and members of the public that they are in a safe and secure environment. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver¿s license. No convictions and free of any diversions from a felony or misdemeanor domestic violence crime. No felony convictions or serious misdemeanor. Special Qualifications: U.S. citizen; 18 years of age; valid driver¿s license.
