Job Description and Minimum Qualifications:
Provides vital space planning and pre-design expertise to structure and manage the programming and physical planning of construction projects to meet University space needs. Interfaces with academic and administrative stakeholders at all levels to develop programming and space planning scenarios for a broad range of capital and strategic planning initiatives ranging from new buildings to modest office renovations. Prepares, reviews, and issues programming and space planning deliverables in graphic and quantitative formats from a range of source materials including space surveys, end user interviews, program information, functional analyses, benchmarking and other sources of information. Requires data gathering, analysis and organization of information into reports and graphic formats; conducting client interviews, preparing functional space program documents, conceptual design alternatives and other deliverables for campus space planning initiatives. May supervise students and/or staff. Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience.
