Job Description and Minimum Qualifications:
Applies knowledge of statistical procedures and psychometric methods and models (e.g., classical test theory, item response theory, diagnostic classification modeling) to develop, implement and/or oversee operational processes including analyses and quality assurance procedures. Supports test development teams from psychometric perspectives by applying knowledge of measurement concepts to inform the test development cycle. Conducts and/or guides analyses in statistical programming and psychometric software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, etc.), including complex or novel approaches. Leads and prepares documentation of operational results, technical reports and manuals.
Designs and conducts validity studies. Designs and implements detailed research projects and analyses for complex or novel psychometric analyses. Contributes to proposals for external funding initiatives. Presents to various external audiences. May supervise other psychometric staff. Ph.D. in educational measurement or related field and 2 years of related experience, including previous experience leading psychometric work on one or more projects in large scale assessment.
