Job Description and Minimum Qualifications:

Applies advanced knowledge of statistical procedures and multiple psychometric methods and models (e.g., classical test theory, item response theory, diagnostic classification modeling) to develop, implement and/or oversee operational processes including analyses and quality assurance procedures. Supports test development teams from psychometric perspectives by applying knowledge of measurement concepts and setting statistical and measurement guidelines within the test development cycle. Manages and supervises operational work across multiple projects. Oversees and leads analyses of large-scale assessment data across multiple projects. Oversees documentation of operational results, technical reports and manuals.
Designs, conducts and oversees validity studies. Proposes and leads research designs both for proposals for external funding initiatives and as part of the organization’s research agenda. Presents to various external audiences. May supervise psychometric staff on multiple projects. Ph.D. in educational measurement or related field and 4 years of related experience, including previous experience leading all aspects of psychometric work on multiple projects in large scale assessment.
