Serves as the project manager on engineering projects or asengineering support. Work may include feasibility studies, planning,design, estimating, and construction administration. Manages andcoordinates outside engineering consultants such that thestandards, needs, and requirements of the University are incompliance with both code requirements and design aesthetics.Prepares construction documents and specifications for renovationof buildings in the disciplines of electrical, mechanical, plumbing,heating, ventilation, air conditioning and fire protection. Preparescost estimates for proposed projects and updates as project needschange. Audits existing conditions of proposed construction site forreplacement, repair, renovation or new installation. Bachelor¿s degree in an Engineering field. Eligible to be licensed as an engineer in theState of Kansas. Five years of experience in design and construction industry.
