Provides project management or landscape architecture support onsmall capital projects, including master planning, feasibility studies,schematic designs, designs, cost estimates, constructionmanagement, coordination of disciplines, and constructiondocumentation. Reports to assigned EHS Program Manager. Conduct laboratory safety assessments, monitoring, auditing, and compliance assurance inspections. Carry out assigned duties within the campus-wide laboratory safety program related to general lab safety, chemical hygiene and biosafety or radiation and laser safety. Bachelor¿s degree in a science, engineering, or safety related field or specified equivalent work experience. Valid driver¿s license. Conditions of Employment: Successfully complete a baseline medical evaluation/examination within 90 days of initial employment; successfully complete OSHA/EPA 40-hour HAZWOPER Training within 180 days of initial employment.

Under general supervision, provides initial point of contact fortechnical customer support campus¿wide. Documents issues inticketing system. Assigns tickets as necessary. High School Diploma/GED and one year of relevant experience.

Under general direction, provides managerial/supervisory oversight to a department. Manages projects focused in different areas such as infrastructure and installation management for all telecommunication networks, application development, implementation, support and/or integration. Participates in collaborative activities and serves as a subject matter expert in the assigned area. Provides technical direction, configuration and/or design leadership, project management, analysis, development and ongoing maintenance and support of projects/systems, and/or repairs. Reviews code generated by the project team to ensure architectural/code standards are included/met. May supervise staff. Under minimal supervision, provides front-line supervisory support and management to staff in a particular area of responsibility within a unit. Manages, designs, and/or leads campus locations or public lab space to improve technology management and design to best serve the user. Provides services and long term strategies in hardware, software, mobile device support, and/or classroom technology for deployment and maintenance. Works as a liaison with an assigned school or unit. May coordinate and provide training to faculty and/or staff using classroom technologies. May serve as system administrator of a purchased system with a delivered application design to ensure that the environment includes adequate support for services, application and web functionality. Under minimal supervision, works within a standards based collaborative team environment to contribute code, provide technical support and development expertise to various development projects and applications. Serves as a member of the Senior IT Leadership Team and directly reports to the CIO. This position is responsible for providing leadership in information security for KU. The Security Officer is given considerable latitude and independence to organize and manage projects, resources (fiscal and personnel), and activities in a robust and evolving technical environment. Bachelor’s degree and seven years of relevant professional experience. Two years of supervisory or management experience. Requires CISSP.

Under general direction, involved in the full life cycle of networksecurity management. Responsible for firewall configuration,maintenance, monitoring and other various network securitymeasures. Performs security assessments and reviewsnetworking initiatives for security compliance. Evaluates andrecommends security products for various platforms in thenetworking environment. Educates users about network securitypolicies and consults on security issues. High School Diploma/ GED and five years of relevant professional experience or an Associates degree and three years of relevant professional experience or a Bachelors degree and one year of relevant professional experience.

Responsible for all activities relating to the audit of information systems procedures and systems. Develops information systems control guidelines. Provides supervision of assigned staff. Assigns work to personnel and directs their activities. Reviews and evaluates work and prepares performance reports. Consults with and advises other sections regarding internal controls and security procedures. Must be able to weigh business needs against security concerns and articulate issues to management. High School Diploma/ GED and seven years of relevant professional experience or an Associate’s degree and five years of relevant professional experience or a Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant professional experience. One year of supervisory experience. Requires CISSP.

Under general direction, audits the most complex new and existing information systems applications to ensure that appropriate controls exist, that processing is efficient and accurate, and that information systems procedures are incompliance with corporate standards. Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of information systems auditing. Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience.
