Serves as project manager for landscape architecture and siteprojects, managing and coordinating the team, preparing budgets,completing construction documents and specifications, andoverseeing construction management in accordance with University,state, and code requirements. Provides landscape architecturesupport on small and large capital projects in accordance with theUniversity master plan. Prepares budgets for project, coordinatesproject team, completes construction documents and assures thatspecifications meet University, state and code requirements. Visitsproject site to review progress and inspect construction. Identifiesfield problems, reviews and completes necessary design changesand monitors progress of complete project. Assists with planninginitiatives surrounding Campus Master Plan, Landscape Master Plan,Tree Campus USA, Wayfinding initiatives, and siting options forproposed buildings and site improvements. Coordinates landscaperelated donations and maintains the Gifts & Memorials Map for theUniversity. Bachelor¿s degree in Landscape Architecture. Eligible to be licensed as a landscape architect in the State of Kansas. Five years of related experience.

Serves as the project manager on civil engineering projects or as civilengineering support. Work may include, feasibility studies, planning,design, estimating, construction administration managing andcoordinating outside engineering consultants such that thestandards, needs, and requirements of the University are incompliance with both code requirements and design aesthetics.Works with all parties to develop a construction set of plans forprojects, monitors progress and assures that project is completed onschedule. Assists with the technical engineering side of the biddingand award process for projects. Bachelor¿s degree in an Engineering field. Eligible to be licensed as a civil engineer in the State of Kansas. Five years of experience in design and construction industry.

Performs construction cost audits. Assists the Business Operationsfinancial director and department managers in developing budgets,analyses, and reports. Performs special projects. Bachelor¿s degree in Business, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.Five years of experience in project management, business operations, facilities management or related field.

Serves as the project manager on architectural projects or asarchitectural support on engineering projects. Work may includefeasibility studies, planning, design, estimating, constructionadministration and coordinating outside Architectural consultantssuch that the standards, needs, and requirements of the Universityare in compliance with both code requirements and designaesthetics. Prepares, reviews and provides compliance codefootprints and specifications for Capital projects, assuring that allspecifications, codes, policies and design standards are met.Provides ADA code requirements for projects. Architectural projectmanagers in the Compliance Group assist with the design ofemergency evacuation plans and assist with fire alarm testing andinspections. Bachelor¿s degree in Architecture or related field. Licensed architect in the state of Kansas. Five years of experience in thedesign and construction industry.

Maintains all building, ground, custodial and/or vehicle fleet maintenance for the facility. Coordinates with contractors for building and/or maintenance projects and may advise senior staff in capital improvement issues. Establishes and enforces schedules for inspections on campus equipment. May maintain Fire Code compliance standards and ensures that safety checks are performed. Coordinates schedules and trains all staff hired in the maintenance area. Develop and implement plans for defining campus maintenance and repair requests and needs. High School diploma or GED equivalency. Five years of experience in maintenance work with three years of experience as a supervisor or lead worker. Associate's degree or vocational school certification may be substituted for two years of the required experience.

This position performs specialized or diverse library work for adepartment or program which requires specific expertise in a specifiedsubject area, language, training, and/or function. Performs a variety of library duties and is able to work effectively both on an independent basis and collaboratively as part of a team. Bachelor's degree and three years of library or related experience OR high school diploma and five years of library or related experience.

This managerial position is responsible for managing, project/workplanning, organizing, and directing activities and resources necessary tooperate and maintain one or more programs that have multiple subprograms and /or diverse activities. Responsible for leadership of one or more library programs and services in areas such as acquisition,discovery, delivery, or preservation. Work involves developing orrevising the program(s) operating procedures, establishing policy,objectives and goals within Libraries or department guidelines; usingmanagement systems and tools to determine, assign, and oversee thequality of work and to direct and coordinate program activities; andexercising control over resources for specific phases of a program(s). Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of three years library or related experience and five years of managerial experience.

This position serves a central role in managing and performing themission¿critical daily operations of a Conservation Laboratory, includinghiring, training, and supervising student employees; conductingassessment and quality control of materials moving through treatmentin the lab; and planning and participating in furthering the broadergoals of the department as a whole. Bachelor¿s degree required.Minimum of one year relevant experience, including training inbook¿making.

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating one or more major libraryadministrative services or programs. Work involves planning,evaluating, coordinating, and implementing programs which provideservices for library patrons and/or external constituents. Bachelor's degree and three years of library or related experience OR high school diploma and 5 years of experience coordinating one or more major library administrative services or programs.

Performs duties in the preparation, design, maintenance and upkeepof outdoor spaces on the University campus. Designs green spaces to conform to planning initiatives surrounding Campus Master Plan, Landscape Master Plan, Tree Campus USA, Wayfinding initiatives,and siting options for proposed buildings and site improvements. Coordinates projects with the Landscape Architect to best meet the needs of the University. Establish guidelines for staff in planning,planting and other procedures required in horticultural and/or landscape maintenance. Bachelor’s degree in horticulture or related field and three years of related experience OR six years of experience in horticulture, landscape maintenance, landscape design, landscape architecture or related field. Five years supervisory experience.
